Edward Baker, Ph.D., holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He completed his internship in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern, Dallas, Texas. During his internship, he specialized in forensic evaluations and severe psychiatric problems, with rotations at Terrell State Hospital, Parkland Hospital Psychiatric Emergency Room, and the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Baker practices as a licensed psychologist in both the public and private mental health setting. He is currently Chief Psychologist and oversees a substance abuse treatment program. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of psychological, substance abuse and behavioral disorders of adolescents and adults.

Dr. Baker is also on the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. During his internship and later practice, he has performed hundreds of evaluations, including: competency evaluations, dangerousness evaluations, sanity evaluations, sex offender evaluations, parental fitness psychological evaluations, Medicaid evaluations, substance abuse evaluations and anger evaluations.

Dr. Baker also provides individual, marital, and family therapy to adolescents and adults for a variety of presenting problems. He regularly consults with various agencies in the community and has testified in both Federal and State court cases.
